James Corden Turns Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad and Stranger Things Into Inappropriate Musicals
Who knew Game of Thrones could turn into such a cheery musical?
James Corden, Alan Cummings and Jesse Tyler Ferguson teamed up on The Late Late Show Tuesday to turn Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad and Stranger Things into inappropriate musicals, but the results are kind of cheery (albeit slightly dirty).
“A wildling could surprise you and become a friend / winter is coming / winter is coming / winter is coming / all over you,” the trio sang. Although the lyrics contained sexual innuendos, the attention remained on Ferguson, who was going to be beheaded. After a rockin’ guitar solo (on a sword) from Corden, he did the deed and killed Ferguson. This is Game of Thrones, after all.
The actor-singers then put on a Breaking Bad musical, where Cummings played the role of Walter White/Heisenberg.
“See I don’t just make meth / I make magic / I make meth out of next to nothing / you can call me Heisenberg,” Cummings sang.
“This guy is amazing / He said he’s going to make us rich / He’s smarter than Einstein / Stronger than magnets / You can call him Heisenberg / I call him bitch,” Ferguson, playing one of White’s cronies, sang.
The trio ended their performance with a Stranger Things musical, with Corden playing the role of the Demogorgon. Cummings took on Winona Ryder‘s role while Ferguson played Detective Hopper.
“I’m a bad little monster / I’ve got a taste for lonely girls with a pretty face / I’m going to turn you on like a Christmas tree / I’m going to put your name in lights like a big marquis,” Corden sang, while Hopper/Ferguson noted, “You’re just doing ’80s things!”
